It could also be imagined words or sounds; this also includes your internal dialogue and real sound around us. Thirdly, it is about the things we feel. Step 1: You must find a comfortable position for getting relaxed and settled. After that you need to get into a position where you will be able to maintain time when you are about to hypnotize yourself. It could be anything like sitting or lying down. Sitting is recommended to prevent you from falling asleep and then you get yourself centered. You look in the front of you and then you start breathing slowly and easily. Then you let yourself relax.
Step 2: You can think about the length of time which you want to spend in such a state. You can then make a statement to yourself. The statement could be, "I am going to hypnotize myself now."You will be excited to find out how well you "internal clock" can keep track of the time for you.
Step 3: You need to find out what you will get from being hypnotized. You can make a statement to yourself on the reasons of hypnotizing yourself. Through this, you allow your unconscious mind to work on an issue. The actual words when you talk about the reason for being hypnotized are not as important as the fact your statement acknowledges you are doing this to realize your unconscious mind.
